Tips for naming and saving images

  1. All images should be saved in JPEG or GIF format.
  2. The resolution should be 72 dpi and the image should be sized to a size that will be used on the page. By following these instructions you will minimize the amount of memory an image uses. The less memory used the faster your web page will load.
  3. All images should be saved with the name all in lower case and not using any special characters, only letters and numbers and with NO spaces. If the image is a JPEG the extension should be .jpg or .jpeg. If the image is a GIF then the extension should be .gif.
